We love these recycled newspaper bags - you're unlikely to find any two the same! These are made from recycled Indian newspapers with jute handles. They're actually much stronger than they look, we've used them for bottles (amongst other things!).
The organisation making these bags was set up in 2004 by street children. They wanted to give something back in return for the opportunities they received in escaping their circumstances. Through making these bags and the income they generate, they are able to take care of other street children. This means they are able to go to school and enjoy being children, rather than facing far worse situations.
